Experimental ASL Garaiya 1.1

A underrated AWD super/sports car

In 2001 the company Autobacs 7 decided to stop tuning daily drivers into race cars and decided to try making their own. They made a sub-division called Autobacs Supercar Laboratory (ASL). Their first and last public car was called the Garaiya, an AWD supra designed to be better than it in every way. It did succeed but because nobody ever herd of ASL before it didn't get very popular. However I have done a very accurate replica of it using automation. Originally the car only had 2 variants, Stock and Roadsport. I decided to add some of my own variants to make it more

    Stock
Normal Garaiya with decent top speed and wicked handling
(this car runs on an inline 4)

    Road Sport
Whats better than a Garaiya, a Garaiya with a cool paint job and higher top speed

    Track
    True track born race car

    Rally
Track version but with a rally suspension and small ram bar

    Drift
A RWD Drift tune thats quite difficult to drift

    Police
The rally tune on street tires, perfect for catching other speeders

    Engine Swap
Remember that other car i made called the lentworth penny, they wanted a Garaiya, dont expect to get very far

    Drag
Without a doubt the worst drag car in beam

    Derby
    Automation cars at their finest

    Project
The ultimate Garaiya with a tuned road sport suspension/ tuned track engine/ and aerodynamics perfect for drift and grip racing

I hope you enjoy this new car I made

There's several problems here. First, the stock model is making under half the power it should, while being nearly twice as heavy.
Second, competition with the Supra? What? The Mk4 Supra weighs almost twice as much as the Garaiya, and they're aimed at completely different markets - a lightweight, Lotus-like 2-seat sports car, versus a front-engined Grand Touring.
The model that was actually made had a Nissan 2.0L engine making ~200hp and was RWD, with the prototype for the faster model equipped with a modified R34 GTR drivetrain.
The best thing I can say about it is that it drives. The windows aren't even accurate.

This mod is stupidly outdated and old. At the time of making this I was defiantly not the best with automation. I knew about the problems with the under powered engine and overweight body but for the description I frankly had no idea what I was doing saying it was competition for the supra. As far as the windows go, I tried to make it as realistic as possible but automation couldn't handle what I wanted it do do. I've herd 9 different stories about what engine it had to be honest. Don't expect an update, I haven't even considered using automation since I released this thing. I'm done with automation and have moved my efforts onto different things.
