Works great, except for the engines having no sound or it beeing not loud enought. Even EVs when producing such power make a lot of noise, just look at the VW ID.R

*sigh* Yet another instance of "worked before publishing and now it doesn't, even though it should."

Time to bang my head against a wall while I try figuring that out.

The mod works, but not for racing. When turing in and hitting the apex of throttle, the rear just loses traction and the car will roll/spin. I think this has something to do with the differential. When using the standard electric motor without the mod installed this isnt there, when using it with the mod installed, its there. I think it has something to do with the diffs being set up wrong

I'll have to look into that when I get time. I wouldn't doubt at all if this last update broke something because whooooooooooboy it did a number on a lot of other things.

Was a great mod till, in typical fashion, 0.20 broke it

I sure love game updates. Mod update should hopefully get pushed within the next week, and hopefully I didn't muck it up in my haste to get it out.

Pretty sure this broke with 0.19.1 but otherwise flawless :)

It sure did. Beam.NG updates are the bane of my existence.

I really like this mod but you should also make the rear bumper without exhaust holes
    1. PinheadLarry
      Author's Response
Believe me, I'd love to, I just have no idea how to do anything that would require. For now I'm just going to pass off the bumper holes in the default config as uhhhhh speed holes.

      Yeah, speed holes. More zoom.

I was about to make this same mod! However, one thing I'm missing is to be able to choose a locked diff for the rear for the electric motors, so I can have an RWD electric. I can make this myself, but it would be cool to have more things under the same mod. Other than that great addition!

      Author's Response
Different differential types were actually in my plans to today, conveniently enough. Was also going to look into adding an ECU to the rear motor so it'd be possible to (theoretically) have a RWD system as well as a higher power config.

I literally thought how the stock electric motors need more power and here we are , thank you! I was able to get up to 148mph. Can you make an extreme version one day where we can get up to 200+mph? :D

      Author's Response
      Don't see why not.

Great Idea!!! Right as I started messing with the car, I really wanted high performance electric motors. Awesome mod!

Very nice mod is there a way to make this a hybrid like the Polestar 1 normal power in the front electric power in the rear
    1. PinheadLarry
      Author's Response
I'm sure there's a way to bodge in a way to get both the battery pack as well as a fuel tank (and I have considered messing about to see if I could figure it out), but as for a proper hybrid setup I straight up do not have the skill to make that.
