doesnt actually speed up time just makes some things faster or slightly faster ( and starting car takes same time)

Depends on the how powerful your rig is. The physics and Game Engine are CPU-dependent, meaning the faster the simulation rate, the more calculations per second you're forcing the Game Engine to do. At 100%, the Game Engine processes 2,000 calculations, 200% would be 4,000 and so on, thus increasing the CPU demand. I have an i5-13400f and able to run up to 500% without issues. Here's a screenshot from a test build I'm working on: https://media.beamng.com/m/IWH1wIzljUkv5XG8

Not a problem! I am working towards a fast/slow motion version (10 - 300%) just trying to fix the ranrom occurrences or the "Outdated Mod" issue and the Showroom breaking the mod altogether.

we could already have it with a bug: when we go to the showroom map and take a photo, the time is accelerated after finishing and we can change the map and the effect remains (the sound does not follow the speed of the game, and if we try to slow down time, it has no effect on physics)

Noticed this as well. Also noticed that when speeding up time, opening a menu (CTRL+W/CTRL+E) resets back to 100% without resetting slider. Working on a fix, but may be due to code changes in BeamNG itself.
