Q: What's included?
Quick summary:
This is the Gavril Durham, my first big vehicle project. Design wise, it is heavily based on the General Motors medium duty trucks. Jbeam wise, it uses the van frame and axles as a basis and has grown up from there since, and the cab is off of the D-series with minimal modifications.
Keep in mind that this mod does have some issues (frames bending weirdly, some meshes being incomplete around the wheel well, inside of hood is really blank), I'll try to fix these as time goes on
I've also released a skinpack that includes a lot of skins for the Durham by some talented people: https://beamng.com/resources/gavril-durham-official-skinpack.24787/
This is the base mod. When complete, I will be releasing some scratch-made addons as a paid add-on. This pack is not yet complete, and you can not buy it.
As with any mod, if you come across issues, first try clearing cache. If it persists, DM me on the forums or on Discord.
If you want to make additional content/mods for the Durham, please contact me before doing so.
You can make skins though

A less quick summary:
This is the Gavril Durham. It is a class 4-through-7 truck which uses the cab from the Gavril D-series. Codenamed the C-series, (so far) you can spec it with the existing flatbeds and cargo boxes.
The models:
C45 is the smallest and lightest of the Durham's (Durhi?). It's comparable in scale to the D45 and H45 however it is a lot more sluggish to drive because of the higher weight caused by the heavy frame construction. GVWR of 15,800lbs
C55 is the next step up, consisting of a thicker frame and sturdier axles. Heavier. GVWR of 18,200lbs
C60 is the oddball model of combining the full-size frame and axles with smaller wheels for lower frame height and cheaper maintenance.
C65 and above are the full size Durham's using a narrower but thicker chassis and MUCH bigger axles and wheels. They also offer the industrial diesel engines.
Custom content:
The Durham is thankfully not just a D-series cab on a T-series frame and it has much more to offer than that. Here is a short list of the custom made content I made for the Durham:
Engines
Besides the 6.9 gasoline V8 and the 6.0 turbodiesel V8, the Durham features a brand new 8.5L V10 based on the Gavril V8.
Also included is an aluminium block 7.8L V8 for the 3rd gen (mentioned below) models.
The main new engine addition however is the scratch-made Phineas 6-118TIC. It is a 7.1L I6 turbodiesel with power outputs ranging from a measly and gutless 190hp and 515 lb/ft to, with the late modifications, a somewhat potent 330hp and 875 lb/ft of torque.
Also... this engine tends to heat up a little, especially visible at night. Keep an eye at the right wheel well, looking at the turbo!

This engine also has all new, scratch recorded sounds from a real engine.
Below is a short overview of how all of the engines sound:
Design & Lore
The Durham has unique design for 2 main eras that it has existed for. The second gen (1987-2000) and the third gen (2000-2006). Both gens keep the basic design of the vehicle but gen 3 is a lot newer in design and powertrain.
Gen 3 also includes a revamped interior.
Early big hood | 1987-2000
Early/intermediate small hood | 1993-2000
Late hood | 2000-2006
Interior
Having the D-series cab means the gen 2 Durham possesses the D-series interior, albeit with new gauges, new shifters and a cutout in the firewall to allow more space for the engines.
Despite what I said above, the gen 3 Durham has a dashboard derived from the H-series, intended for cheaper production costs. It also has new gauges.
Wheels
Since 16 inch duallies would only take the Durham so far, it comes with all new steel and aluminium wheels.
19.5's:
The 8 lug 19.5 steel wheels come in 2 colors and 2 variations for each color. Gray, black, gray dirty and black dirty. Above is the clean black version. The 8 lug 19.5 alu wheels come in 3 versions. Factory finish, polished and worn. Above is factory finish.
22.5's:
The 10 lug 22.5 steel wheels, much like the smaller ones come in 2 colors and 2 variations. White, black, white dirty and black dirty. However opposed to the smaller wheels, the big steels are offered with both 2 holes and 5 holes. Above is clean 2 hole white and dirty 5 hole white.
22.5 alu's are also available with the same 3 variations as the smaller models.
And finally, below are some in-action screenshots
...And some skins involving the skin-pack for the Durham made by my talented friends @Top Tier Studios and @Shadows . Link of this pack is at the top of the page.
