'46 Osprey Royal 1.1

A classic sports car

    '46 Osprey Royal

A stylish, beautiful work of art, from a simpler time, the Osprey is as much a museum piece, as it is a functional car. If you want to be seen, you drive something like this. Very, very powerful, for it's time, this beauty has no problem keeping up with traffic on modern highways.

    4500ccm I6 OHC engine
    192hp and 364nm of torque, at 3900RPM
    0 - 100kph in 8.5 sec
    Top Speed - 223kph

The low-revving engine makes this car very quiet, glidling like a shadow on the road. It likes long, straight roads, where it's speed can come into it's own. But be careful when cornering, since this car is made using only '46 era technology. That means narrow Cross Ply tires, drum brakes, no electronic assists, no ABS, and a very limited amount of grip, in curves. Couple that with a powerful engine, and RWD powertrain, and you have a very twitchy, oversteery animal. It doesn't take a lot to spin the Osprey out, even a slight overapplication of torque in a curve, will make the rear end lose grip.

Realistic Gearbox mode is strongly recommended when driving this, since the Arcade Gearbox will make a mess out of downshifting/upshifting gears at the worst moments, increasing the chance of losing grip. This car isn't for casual drivers, it needs a subtle touch, and some forethought in driving it. Unless on a straight road.

If you can drive her properly, the Osprey is a lot of fun. But she doesn't forgive mistakes.
