Alpha 289ci Ford Windsor V8 (D-Series Update) 2.1

(Engine mod w/ custom sound)

  1. Ryan Lanz
Do you love American muscle? Do you love old Ford small blocks? Do you like cars? Do you drink water?

If you answered "yes" to one of these questions, then this is the mod for you.

This mod adds a 289ci Ford Windsor engine, including a custom sound made by me, taken from inspiration from the 1965 Mustang.

Could you put the pickup engine in \vehicles\common\pickup\ instead of \vehicles\pickup\ so it can be used in the Roamer
Oilpan hitbox on D-series is very low and hits the ground easy
    D-series is missing exhaust pipes

can you add this to all mussel cars in the game
and the idle for the sound needs to go up by 100rpm
this is the best sound we got in beam NG .drive the old 67camaro was the best but the updates stopped.

I will certainly work on adding it to all of beams muscle cars. I've already made an adjustable ECU so you can tune the idle RPM from the tuning menu (with the ECU selected)
Just waiting for it to be approved currently

Very nice, I used it to make a "remake" of my foxbody since it sounds the closest. The most recent update even made the power closer to what it actually makes.

Sounds incredible, reminds me of Tronadorous' 67 Camaro V8 sound.
