Please make sure that any bug reports on this mod are exclusive to this mod and don't come from the CCF. Also, remember to clear cache.
If you want to make any mods for the car, please ask me first.
I don't allow anyone to take assets or files from the Vela or CCF Targa under any circumstances.
After 6 months of work and a 3 month wait, I've decided to release my take on the CCF's form factor:
The 2022 Procyon Vela!
...alongside the Retractable Fastback roof option, which comes equipped to 8 of the mod's configs and appears as "___-_T" on the Hirochi models.

Things of note:
- As mentioned earlier, please make sure that you have the Hirochi CCF on version 1.0.1 or later to ensure that this mod works.
- To add the RF roof to your personal config, follow these steps:
1. Search "Retractable" in the vehicle customisation search bar.
2. Switch all shown parts to the "(Retractable Fastback)" option in their lists.
3. For a CCF, switch the deck cover panelling and roof panelling to the "CCF" options.
4. Change the A-Pillar cladding to the painted option.
- This car does not have the option of a manual transmission. Attempting to switch to the Hirochi 6-speed manual won't entirely work with the screens or centre console, but won't break the car.
- All ADAS and other driver assistance systems will work with this car as they do with the CCF. If any suspension or powertrain edits are made, they will also carry over unless related to the anti-roll bars and coilovers.
Lore and Context
The Vela came as a new model inside Procyon's 2022-23 full lineup refresh. It was created to gauge demand for a mostly untapped market segment, the small luxury roadster. It is low-volume, and is only sold in Asia and Europe, hence the lack of USDM-compliant reflectors and lights.
The Centauri's trim level system carries over to this car too, but is exclusively S-series here.
Designwise, the car is intended to create a much smoother driving experience than the car it's based on. It's better geared towards cruising than carving corners, and attempts to reduce the effort needed by the driver to enjoy driving it.
The Vela itself was an idea I've had in mind since before the pre-remaster CCF had even really started. It started out as a very basic design sketch of how the Procyon lightbar would fit on the front of the CCF, but eventually evolved into a much more detailed design which became 3D. The project started back in April 2023.
The Content
FOR THE VELA
The Vela comes with a completely redesigned exterior This means that it's also got completely new models and textures for nearly everything on the outside, from the body to the lights and wingmirrors.
The interior has also been entirely redesigned and refitted, and comes with 6 unique colours:

Lunar Surface w/ Europa Stone (First Edition)
It also comes with a new 7-speed transmission with unique shift logic by @DaddelZeit, and a new gauge screen and unique infotainment screen, both also made functional by Zeit.
The mod also has 3 unique sets of wheels...
...and utilises 10 Procyon-exclusive colours.
