What does removing the automation chassis and engine do?

    Hi! :)

I have just tried your car, and I am actually quite amazed, even if I see some possible improvements!

To start with the bad things:
    - I think your car has too much front grip, making it hard to handle at every speed, even with a steering wheel
    - You should use a way more aggressive aero setting. The grip at high speed should be higher than at low speed for a race car, and it’s not the case for your Navaro
    - It would be better if you release a version with the chassis and engine directly removed. Like this, no need for the users of your mod to extract it and to edit the jbeam before using it! I bet some guys don’t want to try to do it themselves ;)

    For the good things:
    - I have enjoyed the engine and the gearbox ratios. The pack is really pleasant to use. Your Navaro doesn’t have too much turbo lag (a big issue for most of the automation builds), and the gearbox ratios are just perfect, you always have the maximum torque of the engine
    - The brakes are powerful, and you still have a precise control of the direction when braking. Your car is extremely efficient during the brake phases
    - The suspensions are hard enough to have a perfect control on the mass transfer, but they are not too hard, so the car doesn’t jump on every bump of the track

And the better thing of your car is the aesthetic! I have no idea how much time you have spend on it, but it was worth it :P
In fact, it gives me a lot of new ideas, like creating a 1960 F1 car for example. I have also started working on a modern race prototype highly inspired by your Navaro. Of course, if I choose to release this one, I will give you the credits and add a link to your mod in the description of mine

That’s all I have to say, amazing work mate! :)

PS: I really don’t like to self-promote my cars, but I think you could use my ModRec RX299 as an example for the aero and grip tuning (in its stock config, the other have edited tires). Your Navaro has the potential to beat it on a small track if you fix the issues, since the ModRec is endurance oriented ;)

Thank you for your very lengthy review and apologies for the very very late reply, I haven't signed into beam in a long while!

I spent quite a while testing the car in beam. Its the first car in beam I've really tried to tune and in the end I had to wing it a bit (forgive the pun!!) and go with a very hard suspension setup and very low downforce so it was somewhat driveable, as it was basically dragging along the road lol.

Yeah I did try to edit the zip file before I uploaded it but the file didn't work properly when I did that, not sure why. Thought this was the best way of releasing it. I'm an absolute noob at modding which doesn't help lol

Thanks :) yeah to does look amazing, I only really spent a few hrs making it. It turned out way better than I was expecting

I have tried some of your cars and watched those videos in your mods description and I have to say are they are very well tuned, your cars are probably the best I've seen and driven on beam! Good job :)

If you like, I could send you the automation file for this? I'm sure you'd be able to do a much better job at tuning it than I have. You could send it me back and I'll release it and credit you or you could release it, I don't mind really as long as you credit me.

Thanks again for your review :)
