The Ibishu Centura was the Japanese manufacturer's best selling compact sedan, desperate for a redesign. The 2019 Ibishu Cylphi had sold fantastically in the overseas market, so they brought the name to the US market.
The 2020 Ibishu Cylphi was on an all new platform, using a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4 cylinder engine with Variable Compression, pushing almost 200 horsepower and 215 Lb-ft of torque. The only model available for the first year, is the LX model, with only 2,000 models being shipped to America for a test run, to see how well it sells.

Its actually based on the 2020 Nissan Sylphy. That's the non US version of the Sentra (I believe it's Japan and China among others) It's supposed to be released to the US as the Sentra sometime later this month i think
