Taimania was on a roll in the 90s after reviving themselves from their horrible reputation from the 80s, and in 1995 they released their first-ever full-size SUV, the Borunda. It was designed in Canada with some engineers from various European companies stepping in too. The Borunda was made with the sole purpose of being a road-only suburbian crawler, although in the final production model it had specific models for specific uses. This one, the LE is one of the roads only trim levels alongside the Premium and L models. It featured a RWD drivetrain with a 5-speed automatic with a lower ride height and 19" wheels.
