1989 Adam-Fischer Praetorian B / 4.0 L
NOTE: Made on fans' request. Based on Opel Senator B from the late 1980s, although interior has a little bit of artistic impression. Enjoy! : )
Known glitch: Hood / bonnet cam is positioned too low. It's not big deal, I'll fix it during one of upcoming updates.
The Story: Adam Praetorian B, powered by tuned Fischer tuned straight-six engine (4.0 L / DOHC / 24 V) is probably the most expensive car made by Adam corporation of the Russelheim, West Germany in the 1980s. Stock, most simple version had a price of 40,000 DEM (German marks) but with various trim and engine options the price could go up to the 100,000 DEM in the 1990. It's actually built into powerful, corrossion-resistant unibody chassis, perfect tailored for the various fat cat needs.
The Australian sedan, called Wolten Admiral, launched in the 1988., shares most stats with this West German model, in terms of wheelbase, external design (modified front and rear fascia) and mechanics.
In UK, the local General's Automotive (GA) franchise had local-badged trim which was very popular as the police and the executive car.
In then-decayed Yugoslavia, stock Adam Praetorian was popular director's choice of the big state-owned companies, colloquially nicknamed "The Gigants". In most Yugoslavian successors' republics, it was still prestige symbol until the late 1990s. It even had nickname "The Director's one".
The car was big challenger for Audace and Gassler medium-range executive sedans in the late 1980s and first 1990s years, however for most time it stayed under their shadows.
The interior of this car has some futuristic ideas for the late 1980s car. I won't spoil, test it and see what's the point.
