Developed in response to the Chevy Chevette, the CMD Gnome was projected to be better in every which way, being designed to be a gas-sipping hatch while not being designated 'unsafe for highway use'.
I didn't actually manage to get it to be fuel efficient, it gets 9 mpg.

- Inline 4 engine, longitudinally mounted
- 99 HP
- ~80 lb/ft torque
- RWD
- 5 seats
- about 1600 lbs
- top speed ~120 mph
