1978 Ranch Hover Mk 1

The Story:

British Hover company had several 4x4 station wagon prototypes during the 1960s. The conditions were enough space for powerful V8 engine, practical and boxy design and solid offroad movement and wheelbase longer than 2.3 meters. Then, in 1970. the final prototype was tested in harsh British conditions and passed. The Ranch Hover was born!
The original purpose of Ranch Hover was field car for rural usage, but it also was exceptionaly good in all kinds of roads and terrains. Its 3.5L V8 was comparable in stats to the US muscle ones. Roaring sound, air springs, somewhat wonky movement and very good fuel economy were household for this model.
Inspired by the Range Rover mk1 with some Volvo cues. Enjoy! : )

What's new - fixes and improvements:

• Increased exhaust size
• Increased carburattor and manifold size
• Engine power downgraded from 145 bhp to 141 bhp
• Top speed increased from 173 km/h to 188 km/h
• Increased compression ratio from 9:6:1 to 10:2:1
• Slighly lower 0-100 acceleration (from 10.75 to 10.86)
• Increased RPM from 3300 to 3500
• Added catalyctic converter
• Slightly harder dampers
• Slightly louder engine
• Added bonnet and driver BeamNG camera
