Beta 1969 Labarth 695 Sportivo 1.45

Little 1960s Italian racer

    1969 La Barth 695 Sportivo

    The Story:

La Barth 695 Sportivo was small racing car produced in the very small units in the late 1960s and the early 1970s. Its basis was small Italian family car, the Luxo 500 which traces its roots in the mid 1950s. Some sources claim today exists up to 150 examples of the 695.
The 695 was powered by the 700cc tuned inliner-3, tailored to gain 40 bhp and reach 144 km/h. Another differences were reinforced body frame, reinforced front and rear wheel fenders and the double-barreled single exhaust. Fuel economy and curb weight are almost the same as the original Luxo 500, so is the wheelbase - 1.80 meters.
Because La Barth family company tuned the car almost to the max, it was nicknamed "La Piccola Bestia" in Italian, or "The Little Beast" in the English, and was used in semi-amateur racing events for a very long time.

    Known bugs / glitches:

    - The rear has some little "spike" parts which are not seen in Automation design, sorry, I've tried to fix them but with no result.
    - There's also one little "scar" on doors - visual glitch which is result of 2d conforming door panel. I found it after uploading this mod, so I'll post update next week [FIXED] :)

    Version updates:
    • Tweaked dampers and springs for better handling
    • Downgraded 795cc i3 to the more realistic 700cc inliner-3
    • Fixed hood and driver camera positions
    • Replaced aluminium panels for steel ones for slighter "heavy" feeling
    • The sunroof is now above the driver and first passenger instead of positioning in the rear part of the car
    • The rear-engine hatches are now more visible
    • Added mudflaps
    • Frontal molds are now similar to Fiat 500 ones
    • The indicators are bigger to look similar to Fiat 500.
    • Decreased headlights' size for Fiat 500 effect
    • Weight distribution is now more based on the rear (45/55) and now car is a bit lesser wonky than in original state.
