    1938-1947 Adam Neuling (Modell 1938)

Definetely NOT an Opel Kadett K38 Cabrio-Coupe, Adam Neuling M38 was technically European, scaled-down '38 Declasse, tailored for German yet developing highway net. Originally it was offered only as an 2-door sedan and 2-door convertible, in 1939 the trim variety was widened with M38 Spezial (4-door version trim). During the WW2, it was heavily modified to serve as an low-tier staff car, the chrome was stripped down, and all unneccesarilly details were removed. In that form it was produced at least until 1940.
Powered by OHV-8, 1075cc Inliner-4, it could reach up to 105 km/h. After WW2 its fate was surreal. Adam's main factory was intact, and M38 Spezial (4-door trim) blueprints, also the tooling were brought to USSR, where it was basis for AZMK 400 simple sedan (produced until 1954). In West Germany, it was produced from 1945 up to 1947, when it was replaced by more modern designs.
