Hi guys, Just wanted to share a side project that I´ve been working on. Don´t worry, the Focus is still very alive and being worked on, but sometimes I get tired of the JBeam stuff (veeery time consuming) and then I want to do something else. That said, I like the idea of a vintage Tank in the game, so started modelling an M4 Sherman tank. Please don't ask which models and/or varieties will be made, as I don't know yet. Also still a side project, so it doesn't have the highest priority (the Focus is priority number one). Still in the very early stages, but it's fun to build something completely different from cars!
Oooh, neat! Another tank in the game. The body looks awfully under detailed compared to everything else unless thats just a placeholder.
A Tiger and a Sherman... Who will win in this amazing match? Oh wait there is also the Mk IV and the basic tank that came out a while back. This calls for a 1v1v1v1.
Wait, when did this start progress? I love tanks and stuff about WW2/WW1 so this is great news for me, thanks! I also recommend giving the body more detail.
That is most likely going to come in the future. The model looks like it is still being worked on so chances are you will see more detail later on.
Tiger vs M4 Sherman....someone is going to do a video on that and its best to batten down the hatches when that video comes out!
More detail added. Anyone able to help me or give me tips on how to do the tracks? Haven't got a slight idea how to start with them including the JBeam part.
its going to be awesome to see what happens when this vehicle does come out to seeing what sorta damage it will cause and if it will have realistic rounds to it, I wanna see if it will blow the WW1 tank apart
Thanks for the tip, I contacted him and he gave me some good advice. Going to try and make everything work! Strength of the hull seems to be realistic
Ooh! BeamNG definitely needs another tank. What model are you basing it off of? Looks like an M4 (no suffix) large hatch variant to me. I saw the guideline, just asking which model the prototype is based on as of right now.
