    --- Post updated ---
Thanks for the offer, but first I'm going to finish this model completely, including JBeam, before I'm going to build the other models.

Wow that is coming along very well, are some of the interior parts like gauges and wheel animated?

Gauges are being made by @thomatoes50 and the steering wheel is animated (needs finetuning though).

It is indeed in kph. Engine is just the 1.8, 92kw (125ps/123hp) variant. :)

Been rebuilding the rear lights as a 3D model (didn't like the 2D with texture one). Also beginning to clean up the dashboard. The 3D radio will also be returning :)

Maybe later yes. Customizable parts are more or less planned, but for a later stage, after the 3-door, 5-door and wagon models are finished.

Interior updated with 3D radio again. Makes it look wayy better than the 2D texture. More detailing will be done.
Also planning to do the JBeam from scratch, to make it crash and deform as it should. Now it just gets glitchy and spikey because it's based on the Sunburst JBeam.

Not really a big update, but started to build the JBeam structure from scratch. It does crash better now even though it can get a bit spikey when crashed hard. Can I improve this by adding more nodes? Or adding more vertices to the model?

This is going to take a loooong time, but well worth the extra effort I think.

The Jbeam looks pretty good as is. I suspect the problem is the polyflow on the model isn't smooth enough. More vertices won't really make a difference, if anything they might make it worse. You just need a cleaner model.

How can I achieve that? Rebuild some parts on the model I presume?

max two faces per jbeam quad (you can have more if it's a rounded corner)
3 or 4 will have random spike effect or will not attach to the correct node
