OK, I think I've got a workaround for that last bug. I've attached that version and removed the previous one to avoid confusion. Please see the previous post for details!
Wow that's great. Even after reading it all, I am still not entirely sure what is going on in the ,lua file, but it's real good... Right now I'm rather busy with real life stuff, so I can't quite find the time to update the pack, but I hope I can get to it soon. Thanks again!
I'm pretty happy with it - IMO some aspects of the implementation ended up being overkill, but since the core issue was a difficult one to solve anyway... I'm happy I went whole-hog with the rest of the Lua. Did you get a chance to try it out, or just read over the post?
Added a workaround that @mumboking suggested for the trailer landing gear reset problem. Learned some stuff in the process and cleaned up Lua a lot, improved the workaround for resetting the brake values at the start. I now feel much more confident that this workaround will continue to work consistently.
Yes, I forgot to tell you, I did try it out of course, and I liked it very much. But I really wanted to delve a bit deeper into the .lua code in order to understand it better, before working on an update. I believe I got the general idea of what's going on, (although I am not 100% sure about some of the things), I am currently working on a new release. I didn't forget it, don't worry
Good deal. There's a fair amount of leftover code or inaccurate comments by now (other than the variable definition section at the top). I think I've described the high-level concepts of the way the Lua works in the thread. I know that doesn't really explain how the guts of the Lua tie together internally or tie together with the game itself. Let me know if you have any questions about any of those things and I'll do my best to help.
Well, I ended up taking the "leg extraction" code out of it and adding it to the regular version of the truck scenario too, along with the weights instead of the cars, then I just updated it. Hope it all works!
Sounds great. I forgot that you had another scenario affected by the landing gear thing! Swapping in the weights should be a big performance improvement for many players. :-D Did you see any need to tune the variables?

Quite enjoyed the Version B! Clever! Built Gavril Tough is broken for me though - the truck seems to be stuck in neutral, even though it shows the gears changing, it won't go although the engine revs away.
Thanks for the report. I know what the issue is. Sadly, I'm really busy IRL so I won't have time to fix it anytime soon. Sorry.
Hey i hope you Don't mind this video posting here but your link is in my description.. From reading the comments my time isnt to back then ? 1st go for the camera as well !
Hi, The level Built Gavril Tough is broken because in the last updates, the customized front and rear differentials were removed. You just have to customize the truck yourself: Front & Rear: 4.10 Limited Slip Front Differential (the original rear one was a welded one but the truck is really unable to turn correctly with all that weight on the rear). You can also download the working truck here, and put it manually in the mod (...\Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\repo\heavydeliverypack.zip\vehicles\pickup). Cheers, Julian
Thanks man! Now that I think of it, fixing this mod should take me about five minutes. I'm lazy, but not that lazy.
