    hello to everybody
I'm new on the platform and I just bought Beamng drive, and i would like to know if it's possible to create a object and after to impot it into beamng ? and if it's possible how can I do it ?
    I read this article " https://wiki.beamng.com/Creating_static_objects#External_links " but I didn't understand it
I'm in possession of blender and rhinoceros to create object.
All that it's for a professional project to and my studies, it will be a anti-ram vehicle, in this vibes of fear we all have I thinks something need to be made to reassure the population. So for that my ideas don't stay speculative I need to test it and beamng is the best way to test it before to create it and test it in real life.
Thanks to all people that will help me for this project and also sorry for my english if is wasn't good because I'm french.
    see you

    Hello,

The link you posted is a guide to create static objects.
These are objects that have a fixed position in the world, and won't move (level scenery).
These are rather simple to make: Make your model in a 3D modelling program, export as COLLADA (.DAE) and import in-game.
    A recent video about this:

I'm not sure if a static object is what you are looking for, as you are mentioning vehicle, which is a different thing.

Hi, I like your project, what´s your plan?, what do you want to test on BeamNG exactly?
Does the allready existing solutions are not good enough?, In Spain they use huge planters, some with a tree, they work and are not ugly as a just piece of steel.
I have another question to all, can I make assets with SolidWorks?, and can I make an asset being realistically destroyable having Mass Density, Elastic Modulus, Poisson's Ratio, Tensile strenght .. etc? Is that possible?

    BTW, and for the fun:

    hello nadeox thanks for response
effectively I was looking for object that was not static, if the product doesn't react to a vehicule there is no point
thanks for the video that will help me

hello jaime palmer and thanks for the answer
beamng will permit me to see if my object will stop a car or a truck and how far away they will get
this project is very effective but it stuck in the ground and it doesn't look very good
I'm in product design studies so aesthetic aspect of the product is very inportant and also mine will be transportable
