(Solved) Repo

    so i manually download all of my mods and a folder keeps being made that has a copy of all of my mods which is a big problem because i have 20GB+ of mods and not much space

    it is getting extremely annoying and i cant really play the game anymore

    is there a way to make it so it can not make the folder?

    You can try disabling automatic mod updates. The probably looking for that folder it's creating (I assume you're talking about the "repo" folder) instead of the pre-existing ones you made.

    Where are you placing the mod? (full path)
    Where is the copy of the mod being made? (full path)

    Is the game showing messages about duplicate mods?

    the mods i download are in documents/beamng.drive/mods
    and the repo folder is is in that mod folder
    and yes it is spamming duplicated mods and it is extremely laggy when it does it
    it is also giving me broken mods so it messes some things up

    It sounds like you both installed a mod manually, and installed it from the repository.
    Delete the manually download ones.

    Go into the in game Repo and disable automatic updates and then delete the folder in the mods folder called Repo that's how I fixed it.

    ^ Uh, that's deleting and disabling anything repository.

    All he has to do is get rid of the duplicate mods he has (preferably the non-repository/manually installed ones)

    i do not use the repo and i do not want to
    so i will just disable the repo
