IDK who remembers this, but in Rigs of Rods you could use the mouse to fling your car! I loved this feature and would like to see it in BeamNG, it will make things a bit easier, like instead of having to go into the creator and spawn in cars and move them up into the air and then drop them, you can fling them in game, I would NOT like to see this in what ever story mode this game has, would be a little bit of a cheat, but just for now I would like to see it again =D
I don't know how many times I've tried to flip my car over using the cursor. Another nice feature would be the slow motion system that RoR used.
there already is slow motion? If you mean the rewind thing then ye that would be pretty cool. I wonder how hard it would it actually be to implement a cursor grab tool into drive.
It shouldn't be too hard, the only problem I can see is that you move the cursor too fast and you rip the part of the car off, but you could do that in Rigs of Rods.
that's all the fun, is ripping parts off (especially since more parts should be able to be ripped off in beamng)
I thought I remembered reading a while ago that there was gonna be something like this in the race update? Or soon after? and/or getting the beamng engine to accept cues from Torque3D for rotating cars.
Yeah, Imagine you just crashed and you really wanna keep going but you're upside down. just flip it over with your mouse! I think that this should definitely be worked on. - IBsenoj
The devs plan on implementing this sometime, but it's not really a priority, so no telling when we'll get it.
You can actually spam the F7 key on the keyboard and the car will some what fly up! Computer: ACER ASPIRE M5 INTEL i5 4400 INTEL HD GRAPHICS WINDOWS 8.1 64-BIT 6G RAM
