BMW SMG?

    Are there any transmissions similar to BMW's SMG? I've seen automatics and DCT's, but haven't seen any automated manuals around.

    I think a DCT programmed to shift slowly is close enough to what you're looking for. I made a quick and dirty E60 M5 replica in Automation a few days ago and that's what I used for that transmission.

    If you pick manual transmission car and then use arcade shifting, that is pretty close to automated manual.
