i was just playing feel the bumps and when on the dirt, the dust particles cause my frames to drop to around 30fps from 60fps. i was wondering if there was a way to disable just the dust particles/tire smoke?

im running an i5 2320 cpu with 16GB of ram, using a 420GB SSD and an MSI r9 390 gpu.

im not maxing either the gpu or the cpu, so im not 100% sure what i even need to upgrade right now to run this game better.

That specific I5 barely falls into the minimum specs list, it's probably best to upgrade to a higher end I5 or I7.
    GPU is fine though.

while in the game, make sure you are not in full screen and hit F11, when the editor comes up, open the particle tab (its in the bottom row with the terrain and paint tool). go through each effect (bmg-1 ect) and each particle attached to it (dust, light smoke, ect.) and turn their (lifetime i think) to 0, they wont show up anymore, but in order to revert this the best option is to delete the game and reinstall (if i knew where this data was stored i would say delete the file and verify the game)
    Hope this helps !
