    Did you have Photoshop?
    Assuming you have Photoshop, pick the border of the vehicle and choose to invert it. You can then go into the filter window and apply motion blur in the Blur effect.

    Its not exactly fast (nor does it like to stop, it gets hot if you do) but it looks nice and doesnt overheat when moving.

    The Bolide and Pigeon actually are mid engined.

    As you can see, the Bolides' engine is well in front of the rear axle, making it Mid-engined.

    Similarly, the pigeons' engine is well in behind the front axle, and is actually located underneath the cabin, not under the hood. Therefore, it is also mid-engined.
    The SBR4 and Piccolina are rear-engined because their engines are behind the rear axle.
