Realistic hoodcam (D.I.Y guide)

I don't drive in the middle of a car, do you? I don't think so! I hate this bit in every car game.. Cause it ain't realistic!

Easy mod for you guys! Works in every car, but this example is made with moonhawk.jbeam

Hoodcam left (mod1)

I guess it's realistic in a way but most realistic is behind the steering wheel and it's already there

That's true! but when I concentrate and drive fast on a small road with my own car, I really don't pay attention on the steering wheel. In my own head, this has more of that panorama feel like normal eyes. Other thing is that you don't see no hands there and it felt a little bit silly.

 

True, it would be good for someone who already has a steering wheel setup too.

actually if you're going to complain about realisticness, then you shouldn't use the hoodcam at all, because idk about you but i certainly don't drive while sitting on my hood

actually a good idea, def wondered about this...especially games where there IS a dash-cam, why is the hood cam always centered? shouldnt it just be pushed forward from dash-cam so its closer to the windshield? nice mod. will try once i get back into the game. car sales has drastically increased, im so freaking busy i havent played bem in quite some time. miss it.
