It is kinda like a mobile game, there are no challenge in it really, bit like visual novel or something, where you just make some motions but pretty much same what you do it rolls same way forward. There is also no real goal in it, you just collect some stuff and money. Really boring, but for those moments when brain likes to be in zero operations per second mode, it is fine. Watching stupid videos on YT might be about similar kind of activity really. They did improve some annoyances lately though, brakes no longer bind after braking has been big improvement. Farming simulator is very much of similar, but it has even worse physics, but on other hand it is not quite as boring if you do just logging. I like to call them passive games.

I did test Crew 2, driving in that was really horrible, driving in Mafia 2 feels a ton better and Crew is attempting to be more driving oriented game, that is kinda sad.
I love Mafia 2. I've beaten that game at least 5 times + mods. It's one of my favorite games of all time. The Crew 2 is laughably bad and the environments look like a Cities Skylines mod.
BTW, has anyone else recently heard about Hytale? I'd like to hear some thoughts from people on here.
It looks interesting, but I would rather play without the rediculous quests. It does look like an improved minecraft, so that’s a plus. Get shaders for minecraft if you don’t feel like spending the money.
Dirt Rally has incredible car sounds, physics are quite rubbish, but it still manages to be quite fun, surprisingly lot of fun. Project Cars seems to be also quite much more fun than I thought, at times I like it better than Assetto Corsa, but how come they totally ruined Project Cars 2?
Cities Skylines, and well steam workshop's greatness has bit me back really, i have over 100 mods , and i think well over 1K asset mods, so i'm unsubscribing from them all, and starting again as some are broken. It's taking a while!
Sled storm on the ps1 had a really good soundtrack along with really nice maps and great graphics for the time along with being one of the earliest 3D snow games. Addition: That cover art just makes me sad because I miss the old days when life was better.
Just started Factorio. It's a nice little game, but I think controls should be more fluid. Still, worth it.
Physics are more weird than Project Cars 1, it's like car would drive itself partly, you can make quite foolish things with a wheel and car is not getting upset, not even changing direction quite so instantly, despite having set controls same as PC1, naturally everything as realistic as possible and no any kind of helps. Then again I have only tested PC2 demo, but it is weird, really weird how when you hold speed and wheel at same position at turn, car turns more or less during constant cornering. Even in PC1 there is not many cars I like and they have really odd handling, not realistic at all, more you turn wheel, more car turns, where in reality if you turn too much car starts to turn less, even some arcade games have this covered, but in Project Cars you don't really get understeer much at all by turning wheel too much. So it is no wonder that all kind of 'simracers' find BeamNG difficult as you actually has to drive like IRL. Even Assetto Corsa some avoid because of understeer, you can tell Project Cars racer from the fact he complains about understeering in other sims But at least PC1 is somewhat ok with 190E Evo and Nordy. Some turns of that track just are bit different than in AC. I can run PC1 at solid 60fps on almost everything at ultra (heck even 1080Ti can't run that game on ultra settings it has some serious optimization issues), PC2 demo runs easily 60fps solid even when raining. What Project cars does is give nice illusion and great feeling, but it is not realistic at all, same with Dirt Rally, it is incredible nice feeling to blast trough narrow rally roads, but there is nothing realistic in way car handles, it sounds godly good though and is not too horrible ugly either, but so fake physics that even Mafia 2 I would say gets cars to handle more realistic way. Even Raceroom is better than Project cars though, but that is way off, like that professional race driver Thiesen or something mentioned when comparing AC, iRacing and Race Room, AC is closest to reality and I would say BeamNG is even better than AC. Project cars is pretty though, so understandable why people like it so much, prettiness is more important than anything for most people, it can be seen even on mods that are highly regarded here. So realistic for many does not mean how car handles, it means how great sensation FFB, graphics and sounds create, actual car physics not many are even competent to tell apart from FFB feel.

I had recently chance to test iRacing. It is really weird how cars drive in it, almost exactly like in Project Cars, except in Project Cars limit is bit more predictable. In iRacing cars don't really feel much like cars at all, but cars sound nice and it does look enough good. I did test only MX-5 Cup car though, but it was odd experience, new version of Raceroom is a lot better, much more nice experience. So odd how people use iRacing so much though.
