    Hi everyone,

So I just got a new computer today, I downloaded this game from steam onto this device, I got a new device because playing on my old device was very laggy, but now when I play the game on the new computer, it to lags. I expected for a newer device to have the least problems with slowness. Here are my Computer specs,

    Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i3-8130u CPU @ 2.20 GHz 2.21 GHz

    Installed Ram 4.00 GB

May I ask what kind of graphics card you have?

Are you running beam on a normal laptop? Because you're running the very minimum requirement specs to play Beam.

Do Laptops not have a lot of the recommended specs because the reason why I got this game on my new laptop was for travel and portable, for example, I will be going down to North Carolina on the 26 of December, I really want to play this game while i'm in the plane.

If it's a gaming laptop than yeah it does, but a normal laptop won't get you anywhere.

4GB is not much, considering your Intel UHD 620 takes part of that memory, it is unlikely that your computer can even load more complex levels.

Game really needs dedicated graphics card and 8GB ram is really a must to load more complex levels, especially if graphics chip is using system memory.

Minimum required graphics card is something like 600% faster than UHD 620.

CPU is not really fast as laptop i3 is lot weaker than desktop i3.

Graphics set to absolutely minimum and running game in 1280x720 resolution or smaller might give best results, but even on simplest maps it probably will not run very smoothly.

In BeamNG, physics run at 2000Hz, such high quality physics just require quite bit of computing power.
