Hey guys, I'm working with a friend to make a new mod. Not going to release any spoilers yet, but we're wondering how many verts should we use per part? It'd be nice to have lots of detail, but we don't exactly want to overdue it. (He's doing the modeling, and I'm doing the research and assisting)
It is a smaller vehicle, not weirdly small, but it's not a mid-sized sedan.
We're also debating on a lite, lower quality, less variation version of the mod, so people with lower-spec PCs can enjoy.
A ballpark of # of verts would be great.
    Thanks guys.

Short for Vertices. They're the point of intersection on the polygon.
This is for the model, not the JBeam.

Ok. Thanks a lot man. I'll pass that on to him. I'll also get another guy to have a say though, just so we get 2 different sources.

90,000 sounds good, but remember its the smaller details that count.

Too many verts vs nodes in jbeam can cause issues when deforming. Too many nodes make it challenging to get proper weight. Edge loop distances should also be quite uniform, so challenge of good can be bit more complicated that just modeling side of things.
