That looks amazing so far, would be awesome for very heavy towing with 3 axles.

It is interesting that people are so heavily focused on how it looks, when impressive amount of work goes to actual node / beam structure that you don't normally see, but which really is what makes mod good or bad.

Making something like a crane for example is extremely difficult in BeamNG, but people rather focus on looks. So yeah, looks can be imported quickly, but to make truck actually work like a truck, that is taking a lot of work.

Kinda would be nice if effort of MrCrash is putting to jbeam side of things would be appreciated a bit more, he has lots of skill on that area.

While making 3d model from scratch require talent and skill, it is nowhere near as complex as making jbeam, even adapting jbeam requires understanding of structure strength etc. which gets complex very quickly.

Typical BeamNG people. They see no realism other than just crashing, & that's why people often refer to it as a "crashing sim", because they are not able or don't want to "experience" the more indepth stuff

Yep, people can moan "Oh its only imported" - who cares? Its the Node & Beams which take ages to perfect, setting up the suspensions, joints which take a long time.

and the fact Mrcrash is the only gentleman, specialising in these type of vehicles which i and many others dearly love to use!

My computer has been in service since Friday, but I'm hoping to have it back by the end of the week.
So I guess the crane won't be done before the end of November.:( I was sparing my last scarecrow on the flying cube on gridmap just to take it down using the crane.

Oh well, at least you managed some progress.
Now, if you want to. You can tell Nad or other devs to lock this thread 'till your PC is back and then you can post more progress.
Only if you want to though.

Did the computer broke? They sound to have a long queue in service, but hopefully you get it back early :)

The computer can turn on, but then does nothing else. It has something to do with software but hardware might have been affected too (burnt gpu in worst case). I'm not expert in this stuff so I can't tell you anything specific. At least I know files are safe.

I have bad news. I won't be able to work on mods for at least 2 weeks. But I will do my best to keep my promise and release it this year.

Would be awsome to merge them! :D cause physics on ETS2/ATS are just awful.

Looking forward to use this truck!

I have a suspicion that crane mesh I took from FS17 scania crane mod is actually the same model that was used on the MAN TGS crane in ROR. But I don't have any proof for that yet.

The perfect game looks like this. Map, traffic and picture ETS2, landscape and the world around SpinTires, well, physics of course BeamNG. Only the plot is needed, such as in rig'n'roll.

I planned to release this mod on Christmas. But I still don't have computer and I won't be able to make it into state I wanted it to be in when released.
I could release the mod as planned, but it will only have 4 configs with fifth wheel, nothing more. And if it gets broken by the upcoming 0.15 update, I won't be able to fix it anytime soon.
Or I could just hold it until I have a computer capable of running beamng again, but I have no idea how long it will take.

What do you think will be better?

I think that releasing the mod in a complete state to fulfill your initial vision of the mod is better than comprimising to meet an arbitrary deadline.

Regardless of what you choose to do, the work you do is great and I encourage you to keep going! :)
