(imported from here) We just had Fiber connection activate today, which raises my speed from 10mbps DL and 1mbps UP to 20mbps DL and 10mbps UP (and can reach 100mbps DL paying some extra). Since they are still working on the lines, I can't reach the max speed, but the speed I'm upload stuff is obviously faster
In 3 months I'll have optical fiber. I might be the fastest over here by then, with a 200/200 connection. Some people already have it: And what I have right now: (It's an old test but still the same speed.) LOL My connection will be upgraded by 100x
(imported from here) I use the unlimited 4G connection of my phone everywhere. (I use a wifi hotspot to get the connection to other devices such as my computer and tablet)
i have 4g lte on my phone, also limited, and (because parents and prices) only a 200MB plan, so i stay on wifi whenever possible, lol
(imported from here) It's not a fiber. If I had it then I would have 100mbps internet for 10 dollars a month. Now I pay about 25
google fibre is a 1 gigabit/s down/up isp (or your able to get up to those speeds anyway, i can't wait till google fibre comes to cali, for now, my xfinity 30/5.92 (i pay for 25/5) works though also, how did you manage to deal with such a slow upload speed before (1mbp/s) i would die trying to upload anything on that
Yeah but you don't have that at home I will have 200/200 and they are already testing 1gb connections
(imported from here)this is over a wireless connection, my actual internet is 50 megs downloading, and i think 10 megs uploading. it is much more satisfying than my previous ISP's service... (i'm looking at you, Time Warner Gaymle)
Why does it say "University of Utah"? Here is my hosted network from my house that's powered by tier 1 nodes all over the world and managed by microsoft.
