Guys, does anybody here noticed that the crash sound are now reeeeally silent?
it just sounds so out of place i you smash the car against something or hit a other car.
Same for the suspension bounce sounds it just sounds not right anymore

Can you please make sure you have absolutely no mod or anything modifying your sound first?
Then please provide a video of what you are hearing, so we can tell you if it's correct or not. Record with a screen recorder (such as OBS) possibly.

Ok, i tried to record that but i won´t work but i guess i figured out were the problem is.+
So it seems there is a new soundfilter for distance and thats the problem when i move the camera directly in the impact everything sounds normal and powerful but on distance even a little it sounds very silent AND fuzzy maybe the devs could check that?
maybe im too at that but before the 0.14 it sounded just right in every situation :/

What kind of distances do you mean?

I did test this, at 72 meters away I could not hear the crash much at all.

IRL such crash could be easily heard from that distance. Crash might happen and you might hear sound clearly after, that is easily 200 meters or more.

I wonder how difficult it will be to get that all right though, audio equipment does not quite handle all the real sound pressure and people would not like to experience hearing losses, so maybe distance falloff needs some faking to compensate for the lower sound pressures, but then again I'm not the audio guy.

Handbrake I could hear 10 meters away, so I guess some more balancing is going to happen at some point.
