Well this sucks!

A while back I bought this game and I liked it alot I played it on my mac with cross over, but later when I try to reinstall it beam ng forces you to install directX 9 and when I put install it cant find the windows file ofcourse it cant find it because Im on a mac but when beam ng did not do that we could run it on another directX-modern the game works but when it sees you dont have directX 9 installed it closes even though it has the other DirectX to run on. So Im just saying it was not the best idea to add that. Mac users are going to start not buying the game if theres no way to install it. :/

Maybe you guys can give me an older version which does not have that I could give you my email and code and proof that I bought it.

 

it isn't supposed to run on Mac at all. Anything done to get it to work on them, AFAIK, is unsupported.

 

I don't know how exactly you installed it, and why you are typing in a huge font in bright red text, but use this tutorial, it's the best one out there and it really works: I-successfully-got-BeamNG-Drive-running-on-my-mac-through-Crossover-) When I installed it on my Mac I originally did it a different way and it worked, but that tutorial shows the best way you can do it.

 

Seriously, make it readable and I'll come back.

I would recommend emailing the staff and asking them directly. They are much more likely to respond.

 

It was never designed to run on Mac, the devs are more focussed on other problems, fixing Mac OS problems isn't a priority.

well, thats your fault op, you shouldn't have bought a mac, mac's are made for sitting down, and doing your taxes, while windows pc's are made for sitting down, and crashing car's in beamng (hehehehehehehehe)

 

I'm both ways, I like PC's for gaming no doubt. I like macs for making videos and music and other artsy fartsy stuff.

 

Buys a mac, bitches about PC game not running on it.
