Thank you to everyone who participated, and congrats to Spec Racer Z, Look My Strong and myself for top 3! Also honorable mention to stenyak for an amazing performance on the two courses that were submitted, and to -randy- who's internet denied him a podium placement.

    Stages and Recent Championship
Did you enjoy the stage selection this time? Feel free to discuss below. I felt that the stages were fun with a good mix of gravel, dirt, and road. The Automation circuit was surprisingly bumpy though I still think it was a circuit worth having. The Automation map also gives us a lot of new dirt roads for potential courses.
I'm interested in how we can keep people participating in the championship since there's a consistent drop off from the first to the fourth stage. Do people just become busy? Do the stages get harder? Do people forget to check standings at the end of the week since there's no notification sent to them unless they follow the thread? Any input would be appreciated.

    Next Championship and Stage Creation
Realistically, I won't be able to put any significant work into another championship until the end of December or early January, but I think a two or three month wait isn't so bad.
The biggest hurdle for me is always stage creation so I am thinking if we could get some members to help create or adapt courses on their own, we might be able to get things going quicker. Adapting courses that already exist this is a fair bit less work than scouting out a new set of roads that work well and creating the time trail from scratch, but they both take time to do well. I have recorded a tutorial for stage creation that I hope to find time to edit together before December or January so people can get the technical / map-editor know-how on how to create or modify stages. It'll be something on the order of ten or fifteen minutes since I tried to cover many parts of the process in sufficient detail.
And of course there's always the option to recycle some tracks especially since this was the first championship in a year.

    Automation
Automation is an exciting new part of BeamNG.drive that I know several have expressed interest in here. Can we think of a good format for a rally competition involving Automation? Personally I don't own Automation yet and I won't be able to take the time to learn how to use it well but I'm happy to host a competition involving it, or to let someone else host it here.

Thank you to everyone who participated, and thank you for your feedback

Thanks SouthernPotato for hosting. :) I liked the tracks, I had a sudden increase in stress at work due to a 3-day factory event, so that's why I tapered off at the end. I should be back to normal now.. lol.

If you end up making that video I'll definitely watch it Southern. I've had Beam for so long but have never dove into the more technical side of things. I'm sure it's just a self-imposed barrier.

An Automation themed event would be very cool I just wonder that limiting the potential base would negatively impact turnout. The only way I see it happening would be if we polled the group to see who has Automation. If we had enough interest it would be a cool thing to develop!

That was fun, unfortunately had no time to participate in the 1st and 4th stages, but nothing that can be done to fix that.
My only suggestion to improve the championship (from my point of view, of course), would be to include a rwd option :)

Can we have some sort of free for all event with some restrictions such as that the car must have a 2.0L inline 4 or smaller.

Late but better than not at all: I really enjoyed racing against all of you. A big thank you for all the helpers, organisation and efforts!

Generally I am satisfied of how the championship is set up so far. I suggest a season with more power. If we increase the enginepower, it could lead to a thrilling challenge in driving those cars through woods and tight corners.
