So after scrolling through some car forums, a issue I notice is the ones with heavier traffic allow important information to get lost which leads to questions being asked repetitively which sometimes is taken wrongly or annoys the author, Ex. matty1080's post. Like if someone asked a important question the author will just respond but then hundreds of comments will cover it up. It might already be a function I missed on the forums but why can't there be a way of allowing the author to pin a question or response so it could be found easier or even a way to have the ability to see only the important pinned posts so you could eliminate repetitive question and missed responses
Why not just edit the original post with an FAQ? Do people really not read the original post anymore?
well I noticed the authors wait until they can answer a large amount of question to update the original. And besides that it is sometimes little things like "is this engine going to be in it" that would waste time trying to add in large quantities.
