    Does anyone know what file the music for the Light Runner gamemode is stored or where I can buy/download the music used? Thanks in advance

    It's not in a format you can use on your own.
    It cannot be downloaded/bought anywhere either currently.

    So thats the musical maestro behind that epic song, quite honestly it would be nice to have like a BeamNG official soundtrack...

    Other games have soundtracks you can buy, along with maps etc. I think even Automation has soundtrack in their store, so that might be something people want eventually.

    You can leave game running and listen music that way I guess :p

    Hey, nice to see the music is being enjoyed! :) So basically, we decided that it would be cool for Light Runner to have some music, but of course a snap decision like that isn't normally budgeted for. I have, or rather had since they're pretty much finished now, a few unfinished tracks for my forthcoming album which we thought would work well with the 80's theme. So they're not downloadable as yet, but I'll hopefully get it finished soon after another project I'm working on which is remixing some music by the 80's video game composer, Rob Hubbard, in a more 70's John Carpenter feel.

    As for a BeamNG soundtrack. For sure, the front end and flow of the game are lacking something a little musical at the moment, but it's rather low on the priority list at the moment since there's so much in-game work still to do.

    I second having the Light Runner music available (paid or otherwise). Each track has a good beat and I could listen to each on repeat.

    You might be one of the coolest sound design guys I've seen... heard. ;)
    The stuff you've added to the game really adds a whole 'nother level of immersion. Can't wait for those tracks to be released

    Ha, thank you - our aim is to give you guys and gals a really good accurate audio simulation, with a touch of coolness as well... sure it takes time, but we're getting there.
