also i would never think Ibishu would take their crowning jewel and just facelift an 80's body for '18 besides the body has to be edited unless it wont comply with modern crash safety standards. Which is a major part of BeamNG
I'd like to remind some of you about a few things here. This is a mod that someone has put a lot of time and effort into to release to you free of cost. Making mods is a gesture towards the community and should be received as such. So arguing over whether it's a bodykit or car model is completely redundant considering this is his mod and under a completely fictional car manufacturer. Just take it for what it is and if you don't like it, go to the next mod or put the effort into making something yourself.
hey, feedback is feedback. no one is talking negatively, just stating an observation. if we said the car looked horrible and it sucks, then yea, shut up and make one yourself and dont say anything at all. but i think you are taking it to seriously lol
question, whats the deal with the side mirrors? is that supposed to be like chrome trim or something? i feel like my eyes are playing tricks on me
Yea there is such a thing as constructive criticism. And sometimes that's welcome, when it's presented in a way which doesn't undermine the authors efforts. But there is a fine line between that and nitpicking. And since modding in beamNG often takes a lot of time and effort, a list of nitpicks isn't necessarily what the mod author wants when sharing something. It's easy for a mod consumer to ask a lot basically. It's just something to keep in mind. Sorry, I don't understand your point.
yea I understand all that....I completely agree. I cant stand when someone makes a mod, or barely has progress and starts a thread, the comments are ALWAYS flooded with "can you make "xyz" edition with widebody and stance rims and offroad suspension and can you make it a bus and also could you do a police car version" its like if you dont have anything constructive to say dont post things just to get your post count up its so annoying. OT can you make a police car version with offroad tires and a bus version plz thx
Yeah I understand and I don’t mean to make him feel like trash, I was just giving feedback and if he doesn’t want that, he’ll probably say something. And it does look very good so far.
Well that's a lot of replies... I'll answer briefly: - As I stated, it's just a facelift. Ignore the "2019" if you will. Reason it's only a "bodykit" is that it's my first mod and I'd rather make something simple, but do it well. This does not mean, that I will not evolve this into a more complex mod at some point. However, I'd like to state that I see it as an advantage that you can just stick the parts on the regular BX. - I do really plan on making an interior. - Progress will be very slow because I'm VERY busy IRL. I can maybe do some stuff on the weekends. And a little thingy: Special dynamic blinkers (don't you dare criticize these lol)
those blinkers are awesome, im shocked you were able to code that and make it work lol some magic LUA trickery at play I assume
honestly, this is super duper cool. i love it. everyone's arguing about the 2019 part and all that, and i kind of agree. i get that it's not a completely serious or accurate name, but you should call it something like "200BX 2012 concept" or "200BX facelift prototype" or something like that. also, the front end reminds me of a fiat coupe
