Hi everyone, I was just wondering if the game can add a dashcam view in the game by pressing one of the number keys on your keyboard, I do know there was a mod, https://www.beamng.com/threads/dash-cam-view.17044/, in the game however, someone said it is outdated and no longer works. Pressing 3 on your keyboard, gives you the hood view, which is sort of like dashcam but not really. Hope this gets added in a future update.

Probably would be nice as a recording feature, IMHO, that a dashcam in the game could work to record and save .mp4 files?

You can use the relative camera mode. Although you need to move the camera where you want manually (WASD). You can save/load relative-camera-positions from the radial menu (relcam > slots)

Did you change your bindings to make WASD drive the vehicle? (Default is arrow keys)
If so, you have conflicting bindings.
You need to move the camera movements to something different, as they are WASD by default.
