I really like these configurations (don't get me wrong), but what about the Highway Police one? The previous gen had that.
Danube 1600 (1981-1985) It is a... 80s Eastern Bloc compact car. Majorly based off the Dacia 1310, with some design elements from the Fiat Argenta. Configurations (Credits go to Duster02): Base - with 14" steel wheels, black interior, no side trim, single reverse light, chromed bumpers, radio, single interior light, etc. Luxe - Base + 14" steel hubcapped wheels, beige and black interior, chrome trim, double interior light, temperature gauge, oil level gauge, ashtray, rear seat arm rest, stronger engine, etc. Militia - based on Base, with blue beacon light, Romanian militia livery and interior police equipment. Securitatea - based on Luxe, but with black livery, tuned engine, wood trim in interior, aircon, etc. Taxi - based on Base, but with small taxi sign and tow hitch. Beater - based on Base, but with aftermarket hubcaps, roof rack, air refreshener, in interior, rusty body, faded paint, tow hitch, worn out interior, suspension, not period correct steering wheel, etc. Custom - based on Base, but with lowered suspension, tuned engine, gearbox, 16" deep dish wheels, double exhaust pipes, etc.

Show me any other car than goes as 4 cylinder but has a cylinder less. And Brainless Moron Works is the only one among German luxury manufacturers to utilise three cyl garbage.
Not that, but naming schemes imply bigger displacement than in reality. And why get all flame-y to something on the level of competing fours?
Charmand BF-Series (B-Series introduction year+2 - B-Series phaseout year+10) It is a... ...1980s French subcompact van/minibus. Based on the B-Series, but with a Citroen C15 cargo section and the most powerful engines removes from the option list. Unibody, FF layout, front MacPherson, rear coil sprung solid axle suspension, disc/drum brakes. Configs: Base - Equipped with base B-Series engines and gearboxes, open diff, standard suspension, basic brake pads, unhubcapped 13x5 steelies with 155/85 R13 tires, unpainted bumpers and vinyl seats. Comes as a panel van or minibus. L - As above, but with cloth seats, cheap hubcaps and a right wing mirror. SL - As above, but with partially painted bumpers and a cassette radio. Police - Based on a mid-level base minibus, but with a French police paintjob, lightbar and window mesh. Beater - Based on the cheapest diesel base panel van, but rusted, with worn suspension, brakes and tires, worn, smoky engine, missing trim pieces, a roof rack and a plumber's livery, Terrible - As above, but with a 1.3+5-spd manual swap, a stripped exterior and interior, a rollbar, welded doors, 165/75 R13 dirt tires and a dirt racing paintjob. Shop Truck - As above, but with repaired rust, a B-Series hot hatch drivetrain swap, sport suspension, sport brakes with sport pads, 15x6 alloys with 195/65 R15 tires, a custom auto shop advertising paintjob and a custom sound system. Drag - Equipped with a Stage 4 turbo (517 HP) 2.2 turbo I4, a 5-spd manual, an LSD, drag suspension, race brakes with semi-race pads, 15x8/15x4 alloys with 235/65 R15/105/100 R15 drag radials, a stripped interior and a rollcage.

1310 never came with wheels larger than 13" apart from in the pick-up trims. However a Dacia based car would be VERY neat. EDIT: Also you could never fit 17's on a Dacia, over 15's and you're rubbing like hell.
Well, I'm not familiar with older Dacias, so this data is pretty informative for me. I'm convinced that 17" wheels can fit, but with enlarging wheel arches. Also, I own a Dacia and I'm pretty familiar with newer Dacias (from Logan).
