I was just curious whether if there was anyway to set the terrain (in my case grid map) as a math function and how to do it.
This would help not only me but other new map makers.
My idea was to somehow set the terrain as the function
x^2 - y^2= z (aka hyperbolic paraboloid) with the range of z going from say -4 to 4.
If anyone can point me in the right direction with what im thinking I would appreciate it
    Thanks.

    but, its maths?

label the vertical axis in game as Z. The height at this point should therefore be equal to the X co-ordinate squared minus the Y co-ordinate squared.

Although I think BeamNG actually uses Y as the vertical axis, so it should be Y=X[SUP]2[/SUP]-Z[SUP]2[/SUP]
