I'd really like a Cornwall, UK map, in which there is some very beautiful scenery with maybe a wide-ish river in middle leading to the sea, based on Cornwall, UK but no real life towns, but ones with names that sound like they might very well be real, for example, say Ganzince instead of Penzance, etc...
With it, new British cars should also come to the game, throw in an Austin FX4 lookalike (Alston D40), along with a truck, maybe a Volvo F12 lookalike (Gannister S17), and maybe a bus or two. I'd say, a Dennis Dart MPD/Plaxton Pointer lookalike (Ditney Arrow), and an ALX400 lookalike (Ditney J420).

What are your opinions? I'd really like to hear them! :D

(I know, this is a MAP suggestions thread, but what's the point in a UK map, if you can only use cars that aren't from the UK?)

I guess I could just call it Midwestern USA (because it was just Northern USA, it would've included more states (ex. Massachusetts, Oregon, Rhode Island, Montana, Washington, New York, etc.).

I could also call it simply "Detroit, USA" since the city's name isn't copyrighted (and it doesn't reflect what the majority of Michigan looks like).

Don't forget aging/abandoned Gavril, Soliad, and Bruckell factories!

That'd be neat (I think the Renaissance Center would probably be Gavril's headquarters, considering some of GM elements being in Gavril vehicles).

Midwest, USA. Something that kind of mirrors those towns in the middle of cornfields in places like Bismarck, ND or Billings, MT. Farming silos and old collapsing farm houses in abandoned fields. In the town you have little thrift stores and the like that are commonplace in the average Mid-American town. (maybe even pair all this with a tractor vehicle?) I like the idea of the slice of all the regions of the USA.

I think a map that includes a prison is in order.

What about a BTTF-style map with the Hill Valley (Vale Hummock) town centre on it, that large desert with the old western version of Vale Hummock, and train, and a future-ish version of Vale Hummock? Maybe with multiple layers, the present one is in the middle, the future one above it and the past one below it, but over the skybox/under the terrain so you can't see it?

And, of course, with working time portals, that it automatically fits the vehicles that you have with a time machine when in that map, with a random destination, and that when over 77mph a time portal opens immediately infront of you.

    What do you think? :rolleyes::confused:

I think that's a good idea. The time portal might be tough.

Entire map made out of trolley tracks for the pigeon. Set in a city or just a VR map. Here's what I'm talking about. makeamapentirelybasedonthis.png

I would love a map that is inspired by Italy with curvy mountain roads, small tight city roads and etc.

Sounds like a cool idea, but I think that might be a bit too complex for BeamNG.

But a BTTF-based map sounds pretty fun though.

No, I'm not building this, don't get excited, I just needed some road layouts for testing purposes, mostly trying to figure out different kind of workflows.

However if one replaces railroad with roads, adds bit roads to north, there would be loop road around town area, lot of streets and it would allow blocks to be build as one object for better performance, while not overdoing it, all those bushes and trees would allow use of lods with large objects. Also docs, cliffs etc. From streetview / google maps, look for city called Nynäshamn in Sweden.

Flat area is 2K terrain, so it is kinda perfect fit.

    Maybe a Niagara Falls map?

I'm referring to the city in Ontario that banks on the Niagara River. For the most part, the city's pretty flat (until you get to the edges of the river). Other things to note that should be added is Horseshoe Falls, Clifton Hill, the Rainbow International Bridge, the Skylon Tower, Fairview Cemetery, and a few others.

Yeah that would be cool, especially if the map included Niagara-on-the-Lake with its vineyards and orchards, and having the north of the map bordered by Lake Ontario as a boundary, with the Welland Canal maybe added in too!

    You mean a non-Utah one?
Yeah, sure! Maybe we could have a fictionalised section of the Mojave desert, with train tracks and a train!

(not my picture, click on it for original)
(it is called a desert, and it certainly is hilly!)

How about another New Zealand themed map? But this time, it's based off of Kaikoura, a small Coastal Tourist town.

Go onto Google Maps / Earth and search up "Kaikoura, New Zealand" for a better look.
