ya well nice, but also pretty uninteresting if you are not able to share a little information about it. k thx bye
Look at this for Blender. It worked fine for me, you just have to put some attention on the different parts. That's what I quickly did. I set everything as a single object, ence why the hood didn't detach. If you take some more time, differentiate each part, you can make something pretty. Your welcome.
If he does not want to share, it's OK. But if he does, its ok too. It's a free forum. You have freedom, unlike the DPRK, which it seems like when people get mad because another member does not tell other members how to make a render. Chillax.
yeah well, thats excactly the method you dont want to use if you want to do more than one realistic looking render, because that would mean much manual work. The optimum i search for would be based on complete simulation, just like in the game itself. That way you could get a setup you can throw around in thousand ways and only have to wait for simulation time instead of deforming stuff by hand for hours till it might look realistic. Sure it works good if you put enough time in it, but thats not the solution i wish for. You are absolutley right, and as it is a free forum i stated my opinion about it. I dont know why people allways assume someone would be mad because he expressed his disliking, do you get mad on everything you dislike? That would be one hell of a stressfully life.
WTH? I do not dislike it, but at least you can keep your begging for the OP to give you info to yourself. Nade a couple of posts up tells you how, and if it isn't good enough for you, Google is your friend. Just trying to keep this forum at least kind of calm. This thread was made by Skiper to show off his renders. You can try to make them if you want, but if OP wants his thread just to admire them, admire them. I also do not get mad at everything I dislike. You do not personally know me. I am a nice guy. Only if you make me mad, I will not stop until there is calm on both sides of the fight. I'm Irish. Ever heard of Irish Alzheimer's? It's where you forget about everything except your grudges. On topic, just at least look at the nice renders. If I wanted to do them, I will use Google to look up how to do it. You just keep on going like this, and I can get worse.
You understood me wrong a second time and make a mess about it, great job. I have no interest in justifying my opinions because you missinterpret what im trying to say. I did not say you disliked anything... I did not beg for anything. I asked if i would get information if i guess right... And i could not care less what eventually makes you mad[Edit: as it is not my intention to make anyone mad and so i try to stay objective], i only stated that i dont get mad for such easy reasons and added a rhetoric question. Rhetoric because it is obvious you dont get mad at everything... Furthermore i dont see your problem with me when i, once again, just stated my opinion towards the suggested workflow by nadeox. This is a forum and we talk about something, would you mind to stop trying to judge or categorize the single statements of me? Becomes off-topic. If i want to express the disadvantages of a suggested workflow or technique to achieve certain effects in 3d programs, then i will do so as this is, as mentioned by yourself, a free forum. PS: dont you think i used google like a quadrillion times to learn the stuff i allready know? Like the 3 options i suggested in the earlyer post. I did search for additional insights into knowledge one worked out for himself and which you dont find as easy on google as all the generic beginner tutorials such as "This is a deformer, it deforms stuff!". Sad that i have to explain all this while i just searched for new tricks to learn and play around with, this is not what im looking for man.
Not exactly, he used a DX Ripper for sure, it takes one second, and all you need to do is press one button. Here's the imported 'ripped' model. (imported from here)
Yeah, noticed that as you were writing. Take a simple map, take a car, and rip the scene (It was around 120MB), load in Blender, clean the mess, adjust proportions and materials. VoilĂ . I tried that loong time ago with RoR, but I guess Ogre didn't let 3DRipperDX to work correctly. I had almost no problems with Torque3D. It just takes a bit to clean up the scene, but after you did that you are ready to setup a nice render. (imported from here) (imported from here)
Thank You! This was a very usefull post, concluding, confirming, informative and motivating to try 3dripperDX, even when i wont be able to simulate outside of the game. :/ Up to new toys.
interesting program, if only i could figure out how to use it, i press F12, nothing happens (and yes, it does say ready to capture, and yes i've tried other Fbuttons) also, nice render's
Very cool dude the Bolide looks sexy as hell in those renders by the way. Almost so sexy that I want to start telling Gabe he should lower the Bolides standard rideheight a tad
