The siren sounds are emitted from the lightbars themselves. The sound should be emitted from the hood (Where a real siren unit is), on all light bars except the old lightbar and the German lightbar, which obviously have the siren unit in the lightbar.
I got the vehicles working on the trackbuilder track but when i drive, the track seems to be jumpy and laggy when I am driving along the track. It is like the game is lagging but I think it is the car camera.
The discussion tab for new Automation mods was removed because otherwise the "What's New" section would be filled with nothing but Automation mods.
Agreed --- Post updated --- Thinking about this further @fufsgfen - the replay system will be recording the sound event to be played, for example impact_vehicle_generic, and it will record the impulse values of that impact... however, once it's inside FMOD at any given impulse there's a minimum of 4 samples, up to 16 samples... these are selected at random by FMOD... so there's no way of knowing, or recording, the actual sample played... therefore impacts can sound different in realtime than in replay.... I would quite expect to get some feedback which is the opposite of yours, in that the landing sounded better in realtime than in replay... because of this exact reason. m
As there has been some reports about heavier H-series steering getting broken, I tested and it just breaks constantly, you can hear beam breaking sound, so I can't drift with one of the best drift vehicles right now.
Handbrake question: When I'm in a 4x4 vehicle like the Roamer, pulling the handbrake while in 4x4 will lock up all 4 wheels. Conversely, pulling the handbrake in 4x2 will lock up only the rear wheels as expected in reality. Is this by design? I'd expect the handbrake would always only lock the rear wheels regardless of the transfer case position/driven wheels. Thanks.
In 4x4 all 4 wheels are locked together, so braking the rear wheels will brake all of them. So yes, that's expected.
Ah, of course. With an open center diff that wouldn't happen but obviously something like the Roamer/Hopper doesn't have a center diff. Makes sense now, thanks!
I reported this before the hotfix was out, but it was overlooked i guess. when you have more than one car and press reset all, the mesh do not get fixed on the cars, it is still missing parts on the cars after reset.
I know I was joking around about the Sunbursts unfinished texture before but I have found something that seems to be an actual error with the Sunburst. The only way I've been able to kill the engine is to let it run out of petrol, Even putting in the crusher doesn't break it.
You could save the random seed Fmod used while recording the gameplay, and later use it to play the right sounds.
I don't know if anything can be done to these seat bases of van that act bit funny when you put van against street lamp post using excessive speed: Maybe they should be in same group as seats or something?
I was running at safe mode, but now I did empty mods and vehicles folders and indeed ttsport 19x9 (silver) does not appear anymore, I have no idea what has added that, must be something in my Vehicles folder then...
