I noticed that with selectable 4x4, expecially those with lockers they don't seem to understeer like they should. I don't have a force feedback wheel, but when I lock up my RL 4x4 each step, especially when I lock the front the steering gets heavier, and it gets harder to make a turn.

There are impressions and then there are facts, by testing we can seek out facts, so out of curiosity I did a test:

It appears to be that enabling lockers increases turning circle in BeamNG.

    Thanks,

I should have my Jeep up an running again in a week or two depending on time and motivation. I'll try to take some measurements of the turning radius in the different locker modes. I am pretty sure that it should be worse, somewhere near double the turning radius when going from 4x4 to front and rear locked 4x4.

I figure you may know this, but turning a 4x4 that is locked on pavement or a non-slippery surface in real life is -very- bad for it, and puts a ton of stress on the components such as axles and cv joints etc etc

Yeah... to add to this... the turning radius will probably change on different surfaces depending on the amount of grip available. Really low traction environments may just plow straight on while high traction environments will allow for turning at medium speeds (throws the weight outward thus allowing the inside tires to slide) but an increased radius at lower speeds (along with much more stress and potential damage)

While I am all for science... In this one case, you could do some serious damage to your vehicle... So unless you really are totally fine with doing it (or have done it before for some reason) then I would advise against doing such things... otherwise... you do you... I, nor anyone here is gonna stop you.

Sorry it took me so long, I had to repair more than I had originally thought.

Yes I am aware I can do serious damage, I did the test on dirt and here are the results
    Turning diameter outside to outside.
    RWD open 41'
    RWD Locked 46'
    4X4 open 48'
4X4 locked front and rear 66'

Edit: I would estimate the difference between in game and RL is pretty close, it is probably perception from not having any feedback in the wheel.
