I have been going through every post I have found, used every piece of software and come to the conclusion that this game is too difficult to set up for people who just want to get on and drive. I am not spending my afternoon editing Input maps for a wheel that there are none for! I have a Fanatec CSR, Clubsport Pedals and CSR Shifter and in games such as Assetto Corsa, it's fine. However this game, nope. This wheel has a PC mode which basically means it is set up for the pc. Does it work with this game? Nope. It has an Xbox Setting where it is tuned to work for the Xbox 360 and the pc 360 drivers. Does it work? No. I don't care if the game is in early access. Fix these things!!!! And quickly. In a game that has super realistic physics, you would expect people to want to use Racing Wheels ect. Not keyboards. And I am not spending another £20 to get a controller that I hate. And for all those people who are going to moan about it being early access or alpha or whatever, I don't care. Get the Wheel support or I will have a refund thanks.
Better controller support is planned. That's all you're getting. It takes less than half an hour to make an input map. Threatening the devs won't make them jump up and fix your little problem. I don't think you can get a refund anyway.
I don't want to do it myself. Modern games shoud have accessability for people who don't know how to do things like this!
It's fine that you think that. This is still in alpha. The devs have more important things to work on than some kind of graphical controller configuration. If you're too lazy to do it, then live with the keyboard... there's no other option.
It's in alpha. Don't expect a finished game. Get off your lazy ass, and make a input map. If you're too lazy to do that: (imported from here)
Most 'modern' games consist of teams of dozens of programmers, artists, and the like. BeamNG has 2 programmers, 1 environment artist, and 1 vehicle artist. It's because of this progress will be slower than 'most' games and when there is progress it's more usually to the effect of gameplay and the like which IMHO is where it really matters.
It doesn't matter if you care or you don't care about it being in it's alpha stages. The fact remains. Also, maybe you should've asked if the game supported the steering wheel you have BEFORE buying it. What a concept, right ?

I think post count can be thought of as dilution for your reputation. The higher your post count, the less impacting, say, an immature post has on your reputation. Drowsy can make a post that has bad grammar and immature spelling, but it will be taken as a joke, because he has so many other good and proper posts. This person has 2 posts which are demanding, self-centered, and just generally rude, and IDEK what the other post is, but that means they give off a very negative image, because they have such a concentrated post count.
You made an uninformed decision. They offer the Tech Demo for free. This way you can try the game and see if you like it before you buy it. Did your wheel work in the Tech Demo? You put yourself in this situation, and it's not for the Dev's to bail you out really. Personally, I would refund you and ban you permanently from the game and the forums for your bogus attitude. But what I think doesn't matter.
