Really great job on the mod, I have never seen anyone respond add community ideas so fast.

 

I think would be cool to make it more like the real 200BX but still the separate standard road car configs...

Trust me, it's on the way. I'm trying very hard to tune the suspension against oversteer. The lack of weight in the front is making that very difficult for me.

Love this mod. Is it possible to add the aggressive off-throttle regen deceleration of a real electric car? That would enable "one pedal" driving as seen in a leaf, tesla, etc.

 

Not without adding massive amounts of friction to the drivetrain (which introduces other problems). The game doesn't support regen, so there's nothing else I can do.

With LUA it is possible, check citybus hybrid drivetrain mod for idea, that has regen for battery, even it uses thrusters to assist rest of the logic is there and works with mainBattery just fine, there is regen braking and also main engine charges battery which is useful for hybrid of course


Did you get problem of reversing with sunburst hybrid drivetrain sorted? I saw your old question about that yesterday.

Afaik, that needs custom input binding and probably custom vehicle controller, just not quite sure of the latter, I try to look into that at coming days though for other mod.

Issue is that only main gearbox is operated with shift up and shift down, so one needs to have input binding that operates that second gearbox.

I did long time a go binding that toggles one of the several range boxes, so I'm planning to use that as a base, but uncertain if I can manage to make much more than big hole to wall from all the head banging that will result from it.

i know its late but please convert more vehicles to electric cars. the acceleration is awesome
