Hello, try to reproduce your real life car in automation and post it on this thread For me it's a Renault Laguna II Phase II 2.0L DCI 150hp (I took this photo on Google)
Here's the car i drive IRL. It still needs some work to get perfect, but its one of my first builds. I'm learning UE4, so I might make some new parts that fit better. Mod support on the Automation end of things is severely lacking and the UE4 project files don't work, so Ill probably wait til they give it some attention.
Hmmmm... I could have fun with this... also, from you two, I am pretty impressed just how close you can get. Wonder how well my cars will come out...
I haven't had car for a years, but yesterday I did randomly slap parts to this and I guess it has some resemblance to some random real world vehicle Now I did that without looking reference photos, but after doing that, I did check for fuel cap position, rear light positioning was bit challenging as there was literally only one way to have them there without rot appearing, also rear chrome strips should be black (except one for bumper), I chose them to be black, yet I see chrome, rear bootlid lip is too low, but placing it higher would cause ugly issues to appear, so not entirely happy with it, but I kinda like it despite all the downfalls. Not sure why my AA is being somewhat edgy, or is it only in my eyes. For me that has no graphical eye at all, I think it is fine. Kinda wanted it to have bit over 1400kg, but somehow it is heavier in Beam, ah well I just edit jbeam and maybe put interior from old Pessima to it, just because that Bavarian interior would be more wrong
I love the front ! I am the only one who have big difference between automation engines and beamng speed, I mean, if I make a 150hp engine on BeamNG I will not go over 150km/h... I have to make almost 300hp engine to get to 220 km/h :/
Hi, here are some of my real world car creations, Yugo 55 Hill Climb version, Audi rs2 avant and some random bmw
Yeah, the exporter is not totally accurate, that audi rs2 that i made in the post above has 300+hp and 410Nm as in real life but in the beamng it only has 230 hp and 320 Nm which is not enough and car feels lazy. It is possible that it converts kW to Hp directly 1:1 so portion of the power is lost.

I tried to do my '68 Mercury. I think they updated the exporter because the power values matched in both games. I couldn't get the body just right and I had to adjust the gear ratios manually because every transmission in Automation has overdrive. I also had to set the tire size a little smaller in Automation to get the tires to look like the real thing. I did let Automation do the chassis and engine simulations though and the performance and handling seemed about right.
