Well, somehow it worked. I was able to load up the config I made that later became my default. I wasn't able to set the default plate number in game though, because the Garage UI is a total mess. I had to change it by editing the default.pc file.
Probably some mod that broke something (like happened at other users). Remove all mods and/or do a clean reinstall (see first post) They work, you have to give much more information. Perhaps one of your mods is breaking everything.
This one point right here, from the latest update: Added more damping to all tires, makes for more direct steering feel and more controlled body motion I think it made all the difference to the feeling of the vehicles. So tight, much wow
I think automation cars need to have a lower "lowShiftUpRPM:", for example in Synsols tank it shifts up at 2500RPM, which is quite loud when im only using light throttle.
can you fix tanker Rear Right Wheel Well plz it just disappearing i dont see Rear Right Wheel not a joke i report this bug
Sorry if this was mentioned already, only checked the first post: All lights in the dam tunnel are duplicated:
They have also offload throttle at 1.0, lowering that changes overall feeling of vehicle, but probably they will change things around if intake sounds will be exported in the future too.
"volumePer10kRPM":0.16, "pitchPer10kRPM":0.095, are legacy now and don't do anything, so you can delete those --- Post updated --- Fixed! Hopefully coming to a bugfix update soon
Burnout smoke looks a little different now. 0.12: 0.13: 0.13's burnout smoke seems to follow the lines of the body more. On the other hand, I do like the thicker smoke in 0.12.
How do I bend the window frame? I have tried crashing cars and confirmed some glass broke, but I didn't hear what I'd call a glass breaking sound. The only crash sound I hear is that "aluminum can crushing" sound, which is the new crash sound.
I have a mod that uses the sbeam sound system. I've modified it to use the new FMOD audio system by adding the soundConfig section in the jbeam file and deleting the old sbeam file and sounds. However, when I spawn the car, it sounds fine, but the transmission is gone. Both gearbox and driveshaft are missing and I'm unable to select them from the parts config. It's worth to note that I've already did this modification in both Satsuma and Chevrolet Caprice, but now both are facing the same issue. I don't know whats the linkage between the sound and the car's transmission. I didn't even touched that part. Any clue? Here's a video to catch more attention lol
Press down left ctrl key, move mouse cursor to door frame, you see blue spheres appear, that turn orange on mouse hover, hold down left mouse button and pull door frame, mouse scroll adjusts strength in case you need more power.
The hotlapping app does not set any checkpoints, it doesn't matter what map I am on or what vehicle I am in, the start hotlapping button doesn't set the starting checkpoint and using add checkpoint doesn't add any either. I have tried disabling mods, clearing cache and verifying the game files yet nothing changed. Not sure if the app is just broken with the recent update or possibly there is something I should check that I haven't considered.
That didn't work for me, but the good news is that after some more careful listening I was able to hear the glass breaking sound. It's quite subtle compared to the old one, which is why it's easy to miss. --- Post updated --- Which vehicles? I'm not buying that. I've had several Mercedes from the 80's and they all had smooth and relatively slow shifts. There's no way you could get that without reduced throttle.
