The mountain pass is a fantastic drive in the coronet on a keyboard wpm(wrecks per meter) is the best measurement lol Given another week maybe two of polish the map would have been the best map in beam in my honest opinion.
That is how my T-series sounds too, hiss is happening instead of whistle, same way as in his video. I think that hiss volume per psi is indeed too high for semi, I don't remember hearing these big things really hissing, there are different kind of whistling though. Modern ones whistle so quietly:
It seems the water in the pool on the new automation map has a small area between the edge of the wall and the end of the water where the water isn't rendered as that blue pool water, as it instead is making a clear wavy pattern (like on a beach.) Also the textures seem to be stretched in the pool, but that's been covered in this thread already. I had mods running but deactivated them and I have not cleared cache yet, so if someone with a clear cache could see if this a map bug that'd be great!
I've already reported that in 0.12, but devs turned a blind eye to this, so I'm reposting my report (this time with a video). The problem is, AI in Chase mode is afraid to go in reverse and hit the player with the rear end. Even if it is millimeters from the player, AI car will drive forward and try to find a place for making a u-turn. If it fails to find such place, it will freak out completely and try to commit suicide or whatever.
Reinstalled it and disabled mods and as it turns out, PeterBeamo's Tparts mod breaks the paint jobs. Interesting.
This is more of a mod warning... If someone experiences the fatal vehicle error, then see if you have the "(Covet) More Engines)" mod installed. It was causing this issue for me
The whirl track has any car fall through the starting area. Yes I did all the steps. Verify files, clear catche, and removed all mods.
I don't know if Im just hearing things, but... When a vehicle with a siren gets moving at speed, there are very subtle changes in the sound effect, almost as if the node that emits the sound is not being tracked perfectly, and it creates a mini doppler effect. Try it out for yourself, turn a siren on and just drive at a high rate of speed, and you should hear some improper sound effects.
There should be a way to change to FOV tune of the interior camera separate from the exterior cam, I like having the fov for the orbit camera zoomed in more but then the interior camera is very zoomed in and if I zoom it out then want to reset the camera the center position it zooms back in again. Minor but annoying
