So while the newest version (0.12) runs decent on my laptop, it's just not as smooth and fast as BeamNG used to be, in 0.10 the game ran much faster and smoother for me, is there any way to downgrade back to V0.10? Or is there any plans to make the game better performance wise for more common LT/PCs? My laptop runs every other game lag free & perfect (For example, it runs American Truck Simulator on maximum (ultra) settings without issue)

I can play the game fine, but I'd much rather have the speed and FPS I had in 0.10.

    No, you cannot.

Are you sure it's not just some weird placebo effect? (like in most cases)
The game got many optimization, in particularly on the physics side, which runs faster than the older versions.

Also other games are simply not comparable to BeamNG.drive in terms on how they run and how they use your hardware.

Smoke at least seems to run slower with 0.13, maybe he is experience something related to that?

Turns out I'm just stupid and didn't realize I had something running in the background, a quick restart and priority set to realtime via task manager fixed all my issues :( Sorry for wasting your time!

Sorry, I forgot that you have not yet figured out the time traveling, or alternatively there might of been slip of the button from 2 to 3, whichever you find more likely :)
