I had a go at fixing the wobbly bed, and I think I got it working. I just had to change the collision settings on a few nodes in the bed Jbeam. Lemme know if it works for you.
Would it be ok if you added a rear sliding glass to the truck, in my opinion it would make it took a lot cooler, but this is an awesome mod man keep up the great work
I don't know. Would it be ok? Pretty sure this mod isn't getting an update anytime soon. Also I can't even imagine how hard it would be to add a sliding anything to anything.
the Gavril D-Series Sport body mod and the long bed for extended frame mod both use the stock short bed attachments. Can you do this too? I have mods that add all sorts of extra attachments that I can't use with your bed...and the regular beds clip with your bodies
Dude don't bump threads you've been on here since 2016 and you should know by now. Also isn't it blatantly obvious that the OM isn't going to update it? Grow a brain and read the first post.
Idk what’s more annoying. Him bumping the thread or you taking the time to come on here and complain about it rather than just continue scrolling.
How about all of you stop replying to a dead thread UNLESS you actually have someone OF VALUE TO CONTRIBUTE to the mod, instead of whiny little prissiess complaining
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa well.. somebody should pick up the torch with a D-Series body mod. Is there still a 2010+ looking one floating around? I saw a screenshot of one with HID bulbs and a new facsia
If it's the one I think it is, it's still in development. It's unlikely to be released for some time, so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for it.
I do still plan on updating this. While I don't know when that'll happen, I do still plan on it. I just don't have that excitement for modding this anymore. The game has been out for a while and it doesn't feel like much has changed during that time. It still has the same "ok" graphics, still runs terribly with those graphics, still has barely-passable sounds, and is still inconvenient to mod for. It just doesn't feel that worth it to spend all of the time working on a mod for this kind of game, when there are others that are easier to mod, and are more fun to play. With that in mind, I still have a lot of unreleased content I want to put up, even if its just so someone else can continue it. This mod included. I wouldn't lose hope for this being updated, but I also wouldn't hope too hard for it to be.
LOL I’m so glad someone finally had the nuts to say it. For this game being out for 3 years there isn’t that much more to say for it compared to the day it was released. It’s still a fun game, but like you said it has just ok graphics and runs like hell on those ok graphics. Mods like this are the only reason I still play it because without them I would be bored in a few hours with the level of content this game comes with. Please at least fix the mod. You don’t worry about updating it. Just please fix it. It’s one of the only reasons I still play this game lol.
My issues include one that all people had (the long bed, which I would love to have) and one other person mentioned the door/cab spacing issues. Another issue I have is the lower-trim two-tone color matching on the quad-cabs. I would like to see this as a different truck series (kinda like the old/new pessima) My biggest issue is this: I wanted to do a paint scheme like the old Eddie Bauer Ford trim, but the cab rear cab trim and the door trim colors didn't match, leaving a piece of grey trim on my truck's cab that I wanted to be beige with brown trim... Other than that, I love this mod, especially on the 1-ton models.
This thread's last reply was about a year ago, so it's safe to assume that it is not going to be updated any time soon.
If you get back to working on this (if you aren't already), a 3rd generation Gavril D Series based off modern trucks? or something like the Ford Ranger?
